Kristin Chalfant has been helping clients navigate real estate contracts for several years – her background in art coupled with extensive experience as a new home community manager, property manager, and distressed property research consultant, has shaped her career in real estate and made her a remarkable asset to investors and homeowners alike.
Originally from a small town in Kansas, Kristin moved to Memphis to study law at Rhodes College, but it was her evolving career in art that moved her first to Boston, then Santa Fe, and finally Denver where her love for art and passion for real estate settled into Denver’s rich history.
Kristin managed Palomino Park in Highlands Ranch, Pantera Plaza in Denver, and a generous portfolio including the historic Ice House and Wazee Wire Works Condominiums, before opening the Pinnacle in City Park.
Success in property management evolved into managing the new construction home communities of TrailMark, Stone Berry, and Reunion. Kristin sold homes for Shea and Engle Homes and worked with a private home developer as a new construction specialist. Her roles have helped buyers navigate contracts, home design choices, and coordinate timing with design and construction managers.
Kristin and her husband eventually traded the city life for a home in Roxborough where they have resided for the past twelve years.
Kristin continues to consult with developer, Paul’s Corporation, utilizing her skillset to research distressed properties around the country, and working with new real estate investors. Locally, Kristin enjoys helping homeowners navigate the sale of their homes and the new construction process. Some of her favorite clients are those looking for a hand in building in one of the many 55+ active adult communities.
